OBAMACARE BULLSHIT

Get Ready For the Costs and Chaos of Obamacare
·
·
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was widely mocked when she said of Obamacare, “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.” At the time, March 2010, Pelosi's words accurately described the Democrats' just-get-it-done approach to passing a national health care bill. But now it turns out Pelosi was wrong. In fact, we have to implement Obamacare so that you can find out what is in it. Amid the other momentous events coming in 2013 -- bitter fights over federal spending, debt, entitlements and immigration -- the biggest story of the year, and of 2014 as well, will be the arrival of Obamacare in the lives of every American. For millions of people, Obamacare will mean, alone or in some combination: higher insurance bills, unwanted changes in status at work, higher taxes, loss of employer-based health insurance and a bewildering bureaucracy that will make today's already complex insurance maze seem downright simple. Whether Obamacare's benefits will outweigh the chaos it produces could decide the future of the program. Start with higher insurance bills. “The big unwritten story is that for people who already have insurance through the individual market, or small companies that are buying products in the state-regulated small group market -- those current policies are going to see premium increases on the order of 25 percent to 30 percent come Jan. 1, 2014,” says James Capretta, a health care expert and close student of Obamacare at the conservative Ethics and Public Policy Center. “They are going to have a rate shock like you wouldn't believe.” The reason is that those people are generally younger and healthier and are able to get lower rates. Under Obamacare, they will be combined with older and less healthy people who cost more to insure. Capretta says about 30 million people will see a steep increase -- a population big enough to make a lot of political noise. Then there is the change in work status. Under Obamacare, companies don't have to insure, or pay fines for not insuring, employees who work less than 30 hours a week. So it's no surprise that many companies are going to make sure their part-time workers, and some current full-time workers, stay below the 30-hour limit. That will mean less work and less pay for those employees. Then there are the unexpected costs. This week, the Department of Health and Human Services revealed it will charge employer and individual plans a $63 “fee” for every person they cover. The Obama administration says the fee will be temporary, but it could touch about 190 million Americans at least for the next few years. Then there are higher taxes. Apart from the “fiscal cliff” debate over whether to raise taxes on higher earners is the fact that Obamacare will, in fact, raise taxes on those same higher earners. On Jan. 1, the top brackets will face higher Medicare taxes plus a substantial tax increase on their investment income. But it's not just the higher earners. An estimated 10 million tax filers take a deduction for unusually high medical expenses. Under Obamacare, that deduction will be limited, meaning they will pay more. Most of them fall far below the administration's definition of “wealthy.” There are also new taxes on business. Recently, several Democratic senators -- all of whom voted for Obamacare -- asked that one of its funding mechanisms, a 2.3 percent tax on medical devices, be postponed. Sounding remarkably like a Republican, Sen. Al Franken, whose home state of Minnesota is headquarters of device-maker Medtronic, called it a “job-killing tax. “Then  there is the loss of employer-based insurance. Obamacare is designed to kill employer-based insurance by making it attractive for employers to dump workers into exchanges, which may or may not be ready in time. (Nearly two dozen states have refused to set up exchanges on their own, which will force the federal government to do it for them.) “I think companies will wait and see how the exchanges play out,” says Capretta. “But within a year or two, there will be some serious looking to see if there is an opportunity to offload some costs.” Finally, there is Medicaid. Much of Obamacare is based on adding millions of Americans to that program for the poor. But the Supreme Court decision upholding the health care law also ruled that states, which pay for part of Medicaid, don't have to go along. Some states have already said they won't, which could lead to enormous controversy and expensive solutions as the administration struggles to provide coverage to those affected. Together, all of this could equal one big mess. And if it is a big enough mess, it could have a significant, and decidedly negative, political effect on the Democrats who passed Obamacare and who will now put it into practice.
So, for all the assholes who voted for Obama, you should get what you voted for, but unfortunately the people who did not vote for this asshole will have to suffer the consequences of a stolen election. (Read previous blog on Voter Fraud)
Everyone should read this carefully. I've copied it from news sources and I only did it this way so it is accurate information and not my opinion.  This is going to be a real problem, long after Bama is gone unless we can get our leaders (and I sure as hell use THAT term loosely) to stand up and do something about it.

Voter Fraud- Proof Romney should be our President

A funny thing is happening after Democrats thought they won the elections. Not only are there rampant stories of voter fraud, but it appears that this time, oddly enough, some people seem inclined to do something about it.
Congressman Allen West is demanding a complete recount of ballots in his 18th Congressional District race, which Democrat Patrick Murphy claims to have won.
A partial recount over the weekend had West losing by 1,907 votes. West actually lost 132 votes in that recount, but his opponent somehow “lost” 667. Apparently, a large number of “vapor ballots” have been floating around, and there are a lot of irregularities coming out of St. Lucie County, where voters actually protested outside the elections supervisor’s office to demand an accurate count. According to West’s people, nearly a 1,000 ballots have vanished from St. Lucie County, and they hope a complete recount might swing in West’s favor.
Suspicions were first aroused on Election Night, when at around 1 a.m. West was ahead by 1,700 votes, then with no explanation, 4,000 votes came in at one time and he was suddenly trailing by 2,000. On the national front, there have been widespread stories of electronic voting machines switching votes for Mitt Romney to votes for Barack Obama. The reports began with early voting in some states and continued through Election Day. Now, a Chicago technician named Steve Pickrum, who worked for the election supervisor, is saying that when he was called to service some voting machines on Election Day, he observed that the machines were not counting votes for Romney. “On early voting, when I did work on the floor when voters needed help using the equipment, I was able to see the preference of the voter, and every time that I saw a voter voted for Romney, a ‘voter save failure’ message came up on the screen,” he said.
He also said when he went to vote, he got the same error message and told a poll worker, who replied that he should just assume his vote was counted. He demanded that the worker check the vote record, and his vote had not been recorded.Pickrum said he never saw the error occur when someone voted for Obama. A poll watcher in Pennsylvania reported that up to 10 percent of the ballots observed reverted to a “default,” which automatically gave the vote to Obama, no matter who the voter cast a ballot for. Pennsylvania is the state where Obama got 100 percent of the vote in 59 voting divisions. Pennsylvania on Election Day also had reports of GOP poll observers being locked out of polling places by Democrats. Similarly in Ohio, one of the battleground states, 100 precincts reported that Obama got an improbable 99 percent of the vote. Auditor Robert Ashcroft said on Election Night, he observed that the polling software would switch to a default for Obama in about 5 to 10 percent of cases. He questioned how pre-election polls showed Obama and Romney virtually tied, but then on Election Day, Obama got a huge groundswell of support.
According to an analysis by World Net Daily, Obama also recorded much larger margins of support in states that do not require voter ID than he did in states that check voter identification. Readers may recall the rumors months before the election that voting machines were being supplied by a foreign company owned by George Soros. Those stories were hotly denied by liberal bloggers and sites like Snopes.com and Huffington Post, which themselves have ties to the conservative-hating multibillionaire. Considering the information now coming out about the voting machines, perhaps the liberal media doth protest too much?
Colorado Counties Have More Voters Than People
By: Aaron Gardner (Diary)  |  September 4th, 2012 at 05:00 PM  |  16
RESIZE: AAA
A review of voter registration data for ten counties in Colorado details a pattern of voter bloat inflating registration rolls to numbers larger than the total voting age population. Using publicly available voter data and comparing it to U.S. Census records reveals the ten counties having a total registration ranging between 104 to 140 percent of the respective populations.
Counties such as Gilpin and Hinsdale have 110 percent of their populations registered to vote. Gilpin County has a total population of 5,441 with 17.4% of the population below the voting age, making the highest possible number of registered voters 4,494. Currently Gilpin County has 4909 registered voters. Hinsdale County has a total population of 830 with 20% of the population below the voting age, making the highest possible number of registered voters 664. At 110 percent registration, that means that there are 515 excess voter registrations in Gilpin county and 68 excess registrations for Hinsdale.
When Media Trackers requested comment on the voter bloat in Gilpin county, Chief Deputy Gail Maxwell explained that “This is just a reminder Gilpin is a Gaming Community.  The voters come and go!”
While these voters come and go, they manage to turnout to vote. Records show Gilpin County had 61 percent voter turnout in the 2010 election and Hinsdale County had an astounding 92 percent voter turnout. This is far above the Colorado average turnout of 48 percent, and the national average of 41 percent.
All ten counties investigated by Media Trackers reported voter turnout greater than the national average. Nine out of ten also showed voter turnout well above the Colorado average. Mineral and San Juan counties, which have voter registration numbers of 126 percent and 112 percent respectively, had voter turnout of 96 and 83 percent respectively.
Jackson, Summit, Cheyenne, and Elbert counties have 111, 107, 105, and 104 percent of their population registered to vote, while managing 71, 44, 71, and 63 percent voter turnout.
Rounding out the ten counties looked at by Media Trackers are San Miguel county, which topped the list at 140 percent of the population being registered to vote and 52 percent voter turnout, and Ouray county, which had 119 percent of the population registered to vote and a whopping 74 percent voter turnout.
While Ouray County has a total population of 4,356, with 17.8 percent of the population below the voting age, the county has 4,246 people registered to vote. The highest possible number of voting age residents in the county is 3,581, which is 775 less than the actual registered total.
San Miguel County has a total population of 7,359 with 19.2 percent of the population below the voting age, making the highest possible number of registered voters 5,946. If the census numbers are to be trusted, that results in the possibility of up to 2,390 individuals on the voter rolls who should not be.
Kathleen Erie, the Clerk and Recorder for San Miguel County, preemptively excused the voter bloat when responding to the CORA request from Media Trackers, saying “San Miguel County is a resort community.  Many young people come here to work for a season or two and then move on.” Erie continued by explaining some of the voter bloat was due to senior citizens who “leave during large parts of the year, causing a (non-forwardable) mail ballot not to reach them.”
When Media Trackers asked Michelle Nauer, Clerk and Recorder for Ouray County, for an explanation regarding the enlarged voter rolls, she gave an answer similar to Erie’s. “Ouray has a large snow bird population” Nauer stated, “and residents fly south during the snowiest months, January through April.” Nauer went on to dispute the accuracy of the Census numbers, stating that “most of [her] voters were “counted by the census” in warmer climes, likely Arizona or Texas.”
In a separate analysis done by the Franklin Center, it was found that seventeen of Colorado’s sixty four counties have registration greater than 100 percent of the US Census voting age population.

As seen in the chart above detailing the persistent over registration of Ouray County, the Franklin Center analysis found that there are five counties which have reported greater than 100 percent of the voting age population as registered to vote for all years between 2004 and 2012.
Many of the counties contacted by Media Trackers responded with letters detailing the definitions of different voter classifications, i.e. active and inactive, as well as rules relating to the purging of voter data.
A number of voters across the country received a bit of a shock when they were told by poll workers on Tuesday they had already voted, even though they hadn't. At the same time, others bragged about voting multiple times on Twitter.
Townhall's Guy Benson reported that a former GOP official was informed that he had already voted when he arrived at his polling place in Alexandria, Virginia.
"I got inside, they set me up, I gave the woman my ID, and I told her my address. She said, 'it seems you've voted absentee.' Then she realized she'd read the sheet wrong. 'No, it says here that you've already voted,' she told me," he said. "I hadn't even applied for an absentee ballot, nor did I vote early. As hokey as it sounds, I was excited to vote in person. I had absolutely not voted earlier that day. I arrived four minutes after they opened. Basically, I was told I'd already voted, but I hadn't."
Benson wrote that "Republican election attorneys have been alerted to the situation," but it is unclear if the man will be allowed to cast a ballot.
A report at the Herald-Bulletin said that a “printing glitch” caused voters in Indiana to be turned away after being told the entire precinct voted absentee.
An article at Twitchy says that a number of people reported being told they had already voted.
"My Aunt Joanne tried to vote for Romney in Pittsburgh, someone had already voted using her name for BO," one person tweeted.
"Tried to vote in AZ this AM, was told I had already voted, young man in line said his family in Illinois told same this morning," added "Ricky Kirk."
Meanwhile, Twitchy says that "some Twitter users are claiming to have voted more than once."
"One of my co-workers just said she voted three times already," tweeted "Defiant."
"Voted voted voted! I voted three times (sic)," bragged "srah."
"I just voted. Three times actually. Love Illinois," added "Jordan Borio."
"We can’t be sure if their claims are true, but there are confirmed reports of people trying to do so," Twitchy added, citing a report from PJMedia that says one North Carolina Democrat was caught trying to vote twice.
The Blaze reported that a reader sent them a "redacted screenshot from a Facebook page showing a person allegedly sending in an absentee ballot and casting a provisional ballot as well." The Blaze notes that it is "possible the person who made this Facebook comment could have been joking."
"This is why Democrats are against requiring identification to vote. It’s not racist; it stops fraud," Twitchy added.
Vote fraud alert: One out of five registered Ohio voters is bogus
Vote fraud is no big deal, right?  It hardly ever happens.  It’s so rare that it’s not even worth discussing.  Anyone who claims to take the integrity of our ballots seriously is cynically exploiting phantom fears for the purpose of suppressing the Democrat-loving minority vote.
To keep that silly narrative alive, it’s important not to read the Sunday edition of the Columbus Dispatch, in which readers were informed that “more than one out of every five registered Ohio voters is probably ineligible to vote.”
Furthermore, “in two counties, the number of registered voters actually exceeds the voting age population: Northwestern Ohio’s Wood County shows 109 registered voters for every 100 eligible, while in Lawrence County along the Ohio River it’s a mere 104 registered per 100 eligible.”
31 more counties report over 90 percent voter registration, which is a good 20 percent higher than the national average.  The Buckeye State sure is civic-minded!  Well, except that 1.6 million of the 7.8 million registered voters in the state haven’t voted in at least four years.  So I guess they were civic minded, once upon a time.  Never fear – I’m sure plenty of those “inactive” voters will reactivate themselves just in time for Barack Obama’s re-election.
You might think these astonishing statistics indicate a crisis-level voter registration problem requiring immediate attention, particularly since this is 2012, not 1912, and modern technology gives us extremely potent tools for accurately managing massive amounts of data.  But Attorney General Eric Holder disagrees.  Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted sent Holder a letter back in February, warning that “common sense says that the odds of voter fraud increase the longer these ineligible voters are allowed to populate our rolls… I simply cannot accept that.”  Husted said existing federal regulations “limit Ohio’s ability to remove ineligible names, thereby increasing the chance for voter fraud.”
No one from the Justice Department ever responded.  Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, which called Ohio’s voter registration train wreck to Husted’s attention, is now suing him for failing to take action, beyond issuing a “directive” to remove ineligible voters that Judicial Watch describes as “all bark and no bite,” since there is no evidence that anything was actually done.
Judicial Watch has already filed a similar lawsuit against the State of Indiana, and says other states with disturbing levels of ineligible registered voters include Mississippi, Iowa, Missouri, Texas, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Florida, Alabama, California, and Colorado.  Florida’s struggle to clean up its rolls, in the face of active hostility from Eric Holder’s Justice Department, has already made headlines.
Nationwide, the Pew Center for the States estimates about 24 million ineligible voter registrations, including “more than 1.8 million dead people listed as voters; about 2.75million with voter registrations in more than one state; and about 12 million voter records with incorrect addresses, meaning either the voters moved or errors in the information make it unlikely any mailings can reach them.”
The National Voter Registration Act includes provisions “to ensure that accurate and current voter registration rolls are maintained,” but somehow that part of the NVRA doesn’t seem to count.  It’s painfully obvious that we don’t have accurate and current voter registration – not even by the standards of the early Twentieth Century, let alone the early Twenty-First – but the only parts of the NVRA we ever hear cited are the passages that can be used as roadblocks against cleaning up the rolls, or keeping fraudsters away from the polls.
Without solid voter identification laws, every one of these phony registered voters presents an opportunity for fraud – and of course, Eric Holder is dedicated, above almost every other consideration, to blocking voter ID laws.  And vote fraud on this scale is not a mess that can be cleaned up after the election.  If a candidate wins a tough swing state like Ohio by, let us say, 5000 votes, and it is later discovered that 6000 false votes were cast in the election, the Presidency is not going to be taken away and given to the defrauded opponent.  It’s not even like one of those sports scores that picks up an asterisk due to questionable circumstances.  It won’t matter at all… except as another data point to be erased from the public mind, when vote fraud defenders crank up the machinery of fear and ignorance for the 2014 midterms and 2016 presidential campaign.  And no one on the Left will express a single moment’s remorse for the legal voters who were disenfranchised by stolen ballots.  They won’t have names and faces; no one will be paraded through media interviews to complain about the theft of his or her vote in a historic election.
Vote fraud must be prevented, not investigated after the fact.  There is absolutely no logical reason for a computerized society to tolerate thousands of ineligible voters on its rolls.  The state of Ohio is not a third-world banana republic.  At least, it’s not supposed to be one.  The sacrifice of national pride, and even self-respect, required to meekly accept counties with 110 percent voter registration is astonishing.
Voter Fraud Watch: Two Election Judges Replaced After Illegal Activity in Ohio
Fox News senior correspondent Eric Shawn appeared on America’s Newsroom to report on possible voting problems and voter fraud in the battleground state of Ohio.
Shawn detailed reports of broken voting machines and ballot scanners in addition to long lines and hours of waiting. He then explained that some voters arrived at their polling places only to be told they weren’t on the voter rolls — or worse yet, that they had already voted when they hadn’t.
In Hamilton County, the area that houses Cincinnati, two election judges — one Republican and one Democrat — were replaced after illegally allowing unregistered voters to cast their ballots.
Shawn also pointed out how there are 205,422 provisional ballots yet to be counted in Ohio, which is more than double the difference (100,763) between the confirmed popular vote. For those who cast those provisional votes, there are still 10 days to contact election officials and claim eligibility.

Romney should be our President, Period

Common sense tells the intelligent person that if a president destroys the job market and the economy, why would you want another 4 years of struggle? We are a capitalist society, like it or not. Do companies need to be monitored that they do not abuse the workforce, yes! But without these very same companies, you do not have an income, or at least an income you can support a family on. I do not appreciate the Teamsters using scare tactics to elect an imbicile who has destroyed the economy, increased the debt in less than 4 years that it took his predecessor 8 years to do.

He is a thief and I now call him a murderer. Do you realize he has already taken over 800billion dollars out of medicare to pay for Obamacare?

Do you know that he knew in real time, that our embassy and its personnel were in trouble, but instead chose to go to bed because he had a fundraiser in the morning in vegas? The intelligence community is stating they could have been there in less than 6 hours from the start had he done something about it.

Romney is the man we should be supporting. He is a leader, a man of character. He will not tow the party line. He will compromise to get thing accomplished. He will not shove his mandates ( illegally might I add) down our throats, because he was tired of waiting for congress to act.
On top of all this, my savings and my pension will not suffer because of him. I will not have to work until I’m past 70, or the rest of my life because some imbicile wants another chance. He had his turn, he screwed it up, now is time for him to give it up, or be kicked to  the curb.Period.
It will take a very long time to undo the damage this imbicile created. Time to start.

Comprehensive List of Obama Tax Hikes

I HAD to repost this. I did NOT change a word. This is from Mr. Norquist who is president of Americans for Tax Reform, a coalition of taxpayer groups, individuals, and businesses opposed to higher taxes at the federal, state, and local levels. This speaks for itself. It tells you that his policies DO NOT WORK. Now to top it off, he's taxing us again. How do you expect us to pay higher taxes when there are so many people out of work?

By Grover Norquist

President Barack Obama has signed into law 21 new or higher taxes on the American people. The full list is below:

1. A 156 percent increase in the federal excise tax on tobacco: On February 4, 2009, just 16 days into his administration, Obama signed into law a 156 percent increase in the federal excise tax on tobacco, a hike of 61 cents per pack. The median income of smokers is just over $36,000 per year.

2. Obamacare Individual Mandate Excise Tax (takes effect in Jan 2014): Starting in 2014, anyone not buying “qualifying” health insurance — as defined by Obama-appointed HHS bureaucrats — must pay an income surtax according to the higher of the following:

1 Adult2 Adults 3+ Adults
20141% AGI/$951% AGI/$1901% AGI/$285
20152% AGI/$3252% AGI/$6502% AGI/$975
2016+2.5% AGI/$6952.5% AGI/$13902.5% AGI/$2085

The Congressional Budget Office recently estimated that six million American families will be liable for the tax, and as Americans for Tax Reform has pointed out, 100 percent of Americans filing a tax return (140 million filers) will be forced to submit paperwork to the IRS showing they had “qualifying” health insurance for every month of the tax year. (Bill: PPACA; Page: 317-337).

3. Obamacare Employer Mandate Tax (takes effect Jan. 2014): If an employer does not offer health coverage, and at least one employee qualifies for a health tax credit, the employer must pay an additional non-deductible tax of $2,000 for all full-time employees. Applies to all employers with 50 or more employees. If any employee actually receives coverage through the exchange, the penalty on the employer for that employee rises to $3,000. If the employer requires a waiting period to enroll in coverage of 30-60 days, there is a $400 tax per employee ($600 if the period is 60 days or longer).Bill: PPACA; Page: 345-346.

Combined score of individual and employer mandate tax penalty: $65 billion/10 years.

4. Obamacare Surtax on Investment Income (Tax hike of $123 billion/takes effect Jan. 2013): Creation of a new, 3.8 percent surtax on investment income earned in households making at least $250,000 ($200,000 single). This would result in the following top tax rates on investment income: Bill: Reconciliation Act; Page: 87-93

*Other unearned income includes (for surtax purposes) gross income from interest, annuities, royalties, net rents, and passive income in partnerships and Subchapter-S corporations. It does not include municipal bond interest or life insurance proceeds, since those do not add to gross income. It does not include active trade or business income, fair market value sales of ownership in pass-through entities, or distributions from retirement plans. The 3.8 percent surtax does not apply to non-resident aliens.

5. Obamacare Excise Tax on Comprehensive Health Insurance Plans (Tax hike of $32 billion/takes effect Jan. 2018): Starting in 2018, new 40 percent excise tax on “Cadillac” health insurance plans ($10,200 single/$27,500 family). Higher threshold ($11,500 single/$29,450 family) for early retirees and high-risk professions. CPI +1 percentage point indexed. Bill: PPACA; Page: 1,941-1,956

7. Obamacare Medicine Cabinet Tax (Tax hike of $5 billion/took effect Jan. 2011): Americans are no longer able to use health savings account (HSA), flexible spending account (FSA), or health reimbursement (HRA) pre-tax dollars to purchase non-prescription, over-the-counter medicines (except insulin). Bill: PPACA; Page: 1,957-1,959.

8. Obamacare HSA Withdrawal Tax Hike (Tax hike of $1.4 billion/took effect Jan. 2011): Increases additional tax on non-medical early withdrawals from an HSA from 10 to 20 percent, disadvantaging them relative to IRAs and other tax-advantaged accounts, which remain at 10 percent. Bill: PPACA; Page: 1,959.

9. Obamacare Flexible Spending Account Cap – aka “Special Needs Kids Tax” (Tax hike of $13 billion/takes effect Jan. 2013): Imposes cap on FSAs of $2500 (currently unlimited). Indexed to inflation after 2013. There is one group of FSA owners for whom this new cap will be particularly cruel and onerous: parents of special needs children. There are thousands of families with special needs children in the United States, and many of them use FSAs to pay for special needs education. Tuition rates at one leading school that teaches special needs children in Washington, D.C. (National Child Research Center) can easily exceed $14,000 per year. Under tax rules, FSA dollars can be used to pay for this type of special needs education. Bill: PPACA; Page: 2,388-2,389.

10. Obamacare Tax on Medical Device Manufacturers (Tax hike of $20 billion/takes effect Jan. 2013): Medical device manufacturers 409,000 people in 12,000 plants across the country. This law imposes a new 2.3 percent excise tax on total sales, even if the respective company does not earn a profit. Exempts items retailing for <$100. Bill: PPACA; Page: 1,980-1,986.

11. Obamacare "Haircut" for Medical Itemized Deduction from 7.5 percent to 10 percent of AGI (Tax hike of $15.2 billion /takes effect Jan. 2013): Currently, those facing high medical expenses are allowed a deduction for medical expenses to the extent that those expenses exceed 7.5 percent of adjusted gross income (AGI). The new provision imposes a threshold of 10 percent of AGI. Waived for 65+ taxpayers in 2013-2016 only. Bill: PPACA; Page: 1,994-1,995

12. Obamacare Tax on Indoor Tanning Services (Tax hike of $2.7 billion/took effect July 2010): New 10 percent excise tax on Americans using indoor tanning salons. Making matters worse: According to a Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration report, the Obama IRS didn’t bother to issue compliance guidelines until three quarterly filing deadlines had passed: “By the time [IRS] notices were issued, tanning excise tax returns had been due for three quarters." Bill: PPACA; Page: 2,397-2,399.

13. Obamacare elimination of tax deduction for employer-provided retirement Rx drug coverage in coordination with Medicare Part D (Tax hike of $4.5 billion/takes effect Jan. 2013) Bill: PPACA; Page: 1,994

14. Obamacare Blue Cross/Blue Shield Tax Hike (Tax hike of $0.4 billion /took effect Jan. 1 2010): The special tax deduction in current law for Blue Cross/Blue Shield companies would only be allowed if 85 percent or more of premium revenues are spent on clinical services. Bill: PPACA; Page: 2,004

15. Obamacare Excise Tax on Charitable Hospitals (Min$/took effect immediately): $50,000 per hospital if they fail to meet new "community health assessment needs," "financial assistance," and "billing and collection" rules set by Obama-appointed HHS bureaucrats. Bill: PPACA; Page: 1,961-1,971

16. Obamacare Tax on Innovator Drug Companies (Tax hike of $22.2 billion\/took effect Jan. 2010): $2.3 billion annual tax on the industry imposed relative to share of sales made that year. Bill: PPACA; Page: 1,971-1,980.

17. Obamacare Tax on Health Insurers (Tax hike of $60.1 billion/takes effect Jan. 2014): Annual tax on the industry imposed relative to health insurance premiums collected that year. Phases in gradually until 2018. Fully imposed on firms with $50 million in profits. Bill: PPACA; Page: 1,986-1,993.

Bottom Line Question:

ARE YOU BETTER OFF NOW THAN YOU WERE 4 YEARS AGO?

I don't know about you, but I've seen my retirement funds dwindle, its harder to make ends meet and the overall economy is in the proverbial toilet; not to mention the dismal jobs front.
Obama has laid blame for his failures to everyone within throwing distance: Congress, Tea party; Republicans; Wealthy people; Wall streeters; hell, if he could I think he'd blame the American people for this mess.

This country stands for Greatness, Wealth; Prosperity; Strength a WORLD LEADER and the list goes on.

Why are we allowing this President to destroy what our fore fathers have created?
This President is so hell bent on turning our society into a socialist one that we need to wake up as a nation and VOTE HIM OUT! If he wants socialism, he should go live in RUSSIA (or what's left of it) He's attempting to make our country like Europe.
I've got news for you, "It doesn't work there, what makes you think it's going to work here?"

For an intelligent person, YOU DO NOT THINK TOO WELL FOR THE LONG TERM

No one looked at the sermons from the Rev Wright; that anti Semite who had nothing but terrible things to say about the Jewish people.
Even the Jews appeared to be horrified, but they wanted so much for this person (Obama) to be the hope and change of a nation that they must have told themselves that he couldn't subscribe to this garbage.
It got so bad that the Obama backers offered Wright money to stop preaching and keep his big mouth shut.
I guess from the treatment Israel has received from this President; they must be wondering if the kool aid was worth the price they are paying now.
I guess because Obama knows that Jews are Liberal at heart, he can run right over them any time he wants. (Except when he needs their money for his campaign.)
Do this unto me once; and I am mistaken; Do this unto me again; and I am a fool who gets what I deserve!
Are you really going to allow him to do this again?
Wasn't it Wright that preached about monetary equality? Didn't Obama say that he wanted to take money from the rich and support everyone else with it???
I've got news for all you kool aid drinkers:
Everyone pays taxes. Even the rich. Just because they have the money to pay someone else to find the tax loop holes, does NOT mean they don't pay taxes. When you get down to it; if you pay 10% on a million dollar income, or 10% on 100k, they are still paying MORE THAN YOU.
The real issue is to have the tax laws changed to close the loop holes. Not begrudge the people who made the money. They worked hard for their money too. I'm not rich, not by any means, but I don't hold it against the people who are.
Another tidbit of information:
Obama is rich too! His net worth is in the millions also.
The worst thing about this president is that when he can't get Congress to back his proposals, he creates a Presidential mandate.
He goes behind and around the Constitution and, in my opinion, illegally makes policy without the consent of anyone. He thinks he knows better than everyone.
It's bad enough that the Obamacare he pushed through was proven to be a sham by the new Republican Party's Vice Presidential nominee: Mr. Paul Ryan. He's shown us that not only is Obamacare losing money hand over fist; Obama has been STEALING MONEY FROM MEDICARE TO PAY FOR IT! (HINT: SENIORS UNITE!)

Hatch: Obama Holding Country Hostage With Tax Plan

President Barack Obama  once again blamed Republicans for a stalemate that could increase taxes on Americans next year while a leading Senate Republican cast Obama and his Democratic Party as obstructionists who want to place the tax burden on businesses during an economic slowdown. In his weekly radio and online address, Obama pressed the Republican-controlled House to extend Bush-era tax cuts for households making $250,000 or less while letting lower rates on wealthier taxpayers expire and go up.
The Democratic-controlled Senate narrowly passed such a measure earlier in the week, but the House is not expected to follow suit.
As if this President has any clue towards creating jobs or helping the economy, he has the nerve to say: “Instead of doing what's right for middle-class families and small-business owners, Republicans in Congress are holding these tax cuts hostage until we extend tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans," Obama said.
Responding on behalf of the congressional GOP, Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah, the top Republican on the Senate Finance Committee, said Obama's plan would do more harm to the economy and criticized him with almost identical language. He called for extending current tax rates for all taxpayers and spending 2013 overhauling and simplifying the tax code. “Raising taxes as our economy continues to struggle is not a solution, and the majority of Americans and businesses understand that," Hatch said. "The president and his Washington allies need to stop holding America's economy hostage in order to raise taxes on those trying to lead our economic recovery.
The real issue that everyone should understand and caress is that,"The government reported that weak consumer spending held growth to an annual rate of just 1.5 percent in the second quarter. That was lower than the 2 percent rate of the first quarter and less than what's necessary to help drive down the unemployment rate, now stuck at 8.2 percent."
"The White House budget office on Friday also predicted that the economy for this year will grow at a modest 2.6 percent annual rate and that the jobless rate will average 8 percent. It forecasts 2.6 percent growth next year, down from the 3.0 percent it predicted in February.
So here we have the economy in abismal condition. Our savings and wealth has shrunk with no end in sight. (Unless of course, we vote this loser out)
Yes, people are living longer due to technological and medical advances; but is this so we can suffer at the hands of an incompetant "Dictator"? One who must control everything? This is bad enough, but he's a president who has no clue in alleviating the problems we face every day. He has ballooned the government to such an extent that we can't afford to keep it running. Then to make matters worse, he and his cronies print money like it was a board game, thereby devaluing the dollar, making it almost worthless.
The american people must wake up and vote this person out. We need to get this country back on track.

Norquist: A Vote for Obama is a Vote for $500 B Tax Increase

Americans for Tax Reform head Grover Norquist fired back against criticism that his anti-tax pledge is getting in the way of a tax compromise by Congress, arguing in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV that his pledge makes possible real tax reform and that contained in any compromise is a hidden tax increase.
Norquist’s group organizes the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, which asks all candidates for federal and state office to commit themselves in writing to oppose all tax increases. The pledge, which Norquist says he dreamed up when he was 12 years old, was endorsed by Ronald Reagan upon its inception in 1986, and has been signed by more than 1,100 state office holders as well as 238 current House members and 41 current Senators.
Norquist has come under fire from the first President George Bush and others about the rigidity of the pledge and Senate Democrats believe they have come up with a plan to get around the anti-tax pledge by letting all tax cuts lapse Jan. 1 and then reinstating most of them days later, an idea which Norquist has said “doesn’t pass the laugh test.”
The plan shows efforts by lawmakers to include new federal revenues in an attempt to avoid the “fiscal cliff” in January. All Bush-era tax cuts expire at that time and automatic spending cuts to the military kick in.
Norquist told Newsmax.TV in an exclusive interview that the pledge “stops a tax increase, so if somebody tells you the pledge is getting in the way of getting something done what they mean is it’s getting in the way of a tax increase.”
“If they say it gets in the way of a compromise they haven’t finished the sentence,” he said. “It gets in the way of a compromise that’s actually a hidden tax increase. So the pledge stops tax increases. It makes possible real tax reform and real spending restraint.”
The pledge does not get in the way of the plan proposed by Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, which the Republican House has passed and most Republicans in the Senate have supported, Norquist said, and “would reduce government spending by six trillion dollars over the next decade, reform taxes, not raise taxes but lower rates, broaden the base for simpler, more pro-growth tax policy.”
Norquist said he has little confidence that President Barack Obama and Senate Democrats can help the U.S. avoid the “fiscal cliff,” a term for when all the tax cuts that former President George W. Bush put in place are set to expire and when automatic spending cuts to military and domestic programs kick in.
Obama and the Democrats “want the present lower taxes to lapse and so everything would snap back to 2001 and 2003,” Norquist said. He then painted a picture of what things will look like when the Bush tax cuts expire.

“Tax cuts would disappear, the Alternative Minimum Tax, which is right now limited in its impact, would become unlimited, would hit not the four million Americans it hits now but 31 million families would be hit by the Alternative Minimum Tax,” he said. “The R&D tax credit which protects investment and research development would disappear. So the whole series, this $500 billion tax increase that hits January 1 if Obama is reelected or if the Democrats control the U.S. Senate. So on Election Day if you vote Obama or the Democratic senator you could end up with; we'll end up with a $500 billion tax increase in January.
If Romney and the Republican senator are elected that would be stopped.”Norquist then slammed Obama’s plan to let the Bush tax cuts expire for just those making more than $250,000 a year, saying it actually raises taxes on small businesses.

“Many small businesses, most small businesses, pay as if they were individuals,” he said. “They pay the personal income tax. So when you talk about a successful small business it looks like a rich person. When Obama says ‘I’m going to tax rich people,’ well, what you’re taxing is any growing small business. So it would be devastating to the small business community.”
Norquist said that allowing the payroll tax cut to expire would result in a significant tax increase. “Obama has put that in, I think, in order to be able to claim he’s for lower taxes,” he said. “But again he passed it temporarily, one year.
He kind of likes to give people things temporarily so he can maintain political control over individuals. I think we should make tax cuts permanent. All of the tax increases that Obama has put into place have been permanent. All of the handful of tax cuts has all been temporary.”
Norquist weighed in on Obama’s much-criticized remarks in a Roanoke speech in which the president said,
“If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”
“The liberals and left of the United States have been trying to make the case that merit does not exist,” Norquist said. “People who earn more money because they work on Saturdays don’t deserve to keep their money. People who sacrifice and build a small business don’t deserve to earn more money than somebody who’s on welfare. So they have to delegitimize your success.”“You wake up early in the morning, go to work, your neighbor doesn’t; you don’t deserve any more than he does,” Norquist said. “You risk your life savings to build a business and you succeed; you don’t deserve anything. How do they come up with that? Well the argument is that, on several levels, because you drove on a road that the government built, with your tax dollars, by the way, with your gasoline taxes, that somehow the government deserves something off your work.”
“… I couldn’t believe that the president of the United States was explaining that Bill Gates did not build Microsoft and that Apple was not built by Steve Jobs,” Norquist added. “That he, Bill Clinton, and all his liberal Democratic friends deserve as much credit, as much of the money, as these companies and individuals created, as the people who actually did the work.”

Norquist said he thinks Americans will elect Mitt Romney and a Republican Congress to stop Obamacare and tax hikes.
“… if you vote for Obama and he wins, you will get the 20 taxes in Obamacare and the government will raise taxes on your health savings account, your flexible savings account, your Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, on medical devices, on insurance, all those tax increases to tax you to give things to other people,” Norquist said. “If you vote for Obama and he wins, then there’s a $500 billion tax increase that happens automatically on the first of January, 2013. That’s 56 days after you vote for Obama. You get hit in the forehead with those collections of tax increases.
“You vote for Romney, and a Republican Senate, you have to do both, then we can and will, and Gov. Romney and the Republicans in the House and Senate made it very clear: elect a Republican government, all of Obamacare and Obama taxes go away and the $500 billion tax increase goes away and they’ll do tax reform instead."

Allen West: Obama 'Desperate' After Jobs Numbers

Florida Congressman Allen West believes that Friday’s dismal jobs report will back President Barack Obama into a corner and make him a “desperate person” with the election now four months away.
“When you’re a desperate person — much the same as a cat being cornered – you’re going to come out and really fight even stronger,” predicted West in an exclusive interview with Newsmax shortly after the Labor Department reported that employers had created only 69,000 jobs in May — the fewest in a year — while the unemployment rate ticked up. Together, the news fueled fears that the economy is heading in the wrong direction under Obama's stewardship.
“I think that the president’s policies are failing the American people,” explained West. “We have now hit 40 consecutive months of unemployment in the United States of America at or above 8 percent.”
GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney quickly labeled the jobs numbers “devastating news for American workers and American families,” while House Speaker John Boehner said it’s clear that Americans are in a “desperate spot.”
“It is now clear to everyone that President Obama’s policies have failed to achieve their goals and that the Obama economy is crushing America’s middle class,” Romney said.
House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Tom Price of Georgia said that the jobs report reflects economic growth in America that continues to “disappoint and underperform.”
Jennifer Korn of the Hispanic Leadership Network said the news has been particularly devastating for the Hispanic community.
“Hispanics are still experiencing an all-time high unemployment rate of 11.0 percent,” she said, asking Obama, “Mr. President where are the jobs?"
The May jobless report follows April figures that also came in weaker than forecast and were revised down further today, to a 77,000 gain — news that prompted billionaire businessman Donald Trump to tweet: “The economy is in deep trouble.”
RNC Chair Reince Priebus tweeted that the dismal report “proves yet again” that Obama’s “policies simply are not working.”
Reports released yesterday showed the economy grew less than initially estimated during the first quarter, and business activity in May expanded at the slowest pace in more than two years. The number of Americans applying for unemployment benefits rose to a one-month high in the week ended May 26, according to Bloomberg.
West, who was elected in 2010, said that the actual unemployment rate of the nation is closer to 14.5 percent when you consider the under employed and those people who have dropped off the unemployment rolls.
“President Obama is pretty much in a corner,” declared West, who is a member of the House Tea Party Caucus. “It’s a very much desperate situation for him because as three years and six months into this recovery . . . we know that this is the worst economic recovery that we have seen in the United States of America’s history.”
An Army veteran, who served for more than 20 years in the military, West said that President Obama’s policies have been an “abject failure” for the country.
“These policies are not helping the private sector to grow and create job opportunities that are necessary to turn this economic situation around,” he charged.
“And I think that what President Obama is doing in trying to attack Gov. Romney is not what the American people are looking for. They’re looking for solutions. They’re looking for leadership. They’re looking for a statesman,” West added.
He said that Romney must now present a plan to the American people of how he will turn the economy around much the same way that Ronald Reagan did back in the 1980s.
“When you make the comparative analysis with President Ronald Reagan when he was coming out of that recession, GDP growth was somewhere between 6 and 6.5 percent,” according to West, who said that GDP growth under Obama is around 1.9 percent.
“We know that the debt to GDP ratio is still very high. And that is a very bad indicator for him,” asserted West. “I think Gov. Romney now has to really show his economic prowess and come out with a very good strategic plan to turn this economy around.”

This is a very interesting fact that seems to be missing from the normal news media. It appears Mr. OBama has successfully hidden his lack of a fundamental knowledge from the American people regarding job creation. In other words, he hasn't a clue. His advisors are even more clueless.
We as a country, really need to wake up an eliminate this problem before it's too late. We are at the brink of financial collapse and this president is only making matters worse.
I do believe the ONLY legacy this president has, is being able to deceive a large group of Americans  into believing he is/was the "Hope" they were looking for. Weren't they all mistaken.

Obama’s attack on Supreme Court

President Barack Obama’s attack on the Supreme Court appeared to backfire, when the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals issued an order giving the Justice Department until noon Thursday to state whether the administration truly believes courts lack the authority to strike down mandates that they determine are unconstitutional.
On Monday, Obama said that striking down his signature healthcare legislation would be an “unprecedented, extraordinary step” and would demonstrate a lack of “judicial restraint” by the Supreme Court.
He also pointed out that the nine Supreme Court justices are unelected, suggesting that it would therefore be undemocratic for them to overturn Obamacare, which narrowly eked through Congress by a seven vote margin in the House of Representatives.
“This is liberals in shock over watching their side being demolished in oral arguments,” Fox News commentator Charles Krauthammer said Tuesday, pointing out the courts have had the authority to strike down unconstitutional provisions for over 200 years. “And [they are] trying to bully the Supreme Court into ending up on their side in a case which they clearly had lost intellectually and logically.”
The order from the 5th Circuit for the Justice Department to clarify its position on judicial authority came during a separate challenge to Obamacare brought by physician-owned hospitals.
As a Justice Department lawyer began arguing the government’s case, Appeals Judge Jerry Smith interrupted the presentation to ask if the 5th Circuit Court had the legal authority to strike down a law it finds to be unconstitutional. CBS News reports that when the government lawyer answered affirmatively, the judge stated that it was not clear to “many of us” that the president agrees.
The three-judge panel then gave the Justice Department until noon Thursday to provide a three-page letter clarifying whether it believes courts have the authority to pass judgment on the constitutionality of laws. “Clearly, Jerry Smith was upset by the president’s remarks and he has every right to demand clarification,” judicial expert Curt Levey of the Committee for Justice told Newsmax. “Obviously, he’s making a point as well as requesting clarification.
“But the president left himself open to that,” Levey added. “Of course the president doesn’t really believe the Supreme Court can’t strike down unconstitutional laws. But if the president’s going to say things like that to demagogue, then he is responsible for them.”
Many observers saw the president’s remarks as a clumsy attempt to “work the refs” and influence the court’s decision on his healthcare reforms. His challenge to the independent judiciary branch of government provoked widespread criticism from both sides of the aisle Tuesday.
“For the president to imply that the only explanation for a constitutional conclusion contrary to his own would be out-of-control conservative justices does the court a disservice,” wrote Washington Post correspondent Ruth Marcus, who has been a staunch defender of the president’s policies.
The Wall Street Journal, meanwhile, published a pointed editorial taking the president to task.
“Mr. Obama's remarks suggest he is joining others on the left in warning the justices that they will pay a political price if they dare to overturn even part of the law,” it stated. “As he runs for re-election, Mr. Obama's inner community organizer seems to be winning out over the law professor.” By upping the ante, the 5th Circuit focuses more attention on a misstep that the administration would prefer go unnoticed. The president came under attack from the left and right Tuesday over what looked like a blatant attempt to intimidate the court and influence its verdict. He quickly backed off from his challenge to the judiciary, however. “The point I was making is that the Supreme Court is the final say on our Constitution, and all of us have to respect it,” he said. “But it’s precisely because of that extraordinary power that the court has traditionally exercised significant restraint and deference to a duly elected legislature. Obama went on to assert that overturning congressional legislation was so extraordinary that the burden of proof would be on those who felt it could be unconstitutional.  That view, however, appeared to be at odds with the position of the key swing vote in the case, however: Associate Justice Anthony Kennedy.
“I understand that we must presume laws are constitutional,” Justice Kennedy said to U.S. Solicitor General Donald B. Verrilli on the second day of oral arguments last week. “But, even so, when you are changing the relation of the individual to the government in this, what we can stipulate is, I think a unique way, do you not have a heavy burden of justification to show authorization under the Constitution?”
How naive is he to think that our Supreme Court cannot overturn an unconstitutional law. Then when he realizes that he was WRONG, he attempts to threaten and intimidate them. I think the power we gave him has gone to his head. These are precisely the reasons why he is so ineffective in office. I think it's time we took back the power. YES, we the people have that power!!!
THE TIME FOR CHANGE HAS COME! WE NEED A LEADER WHO CAN AND WILL GET THIS COUNTRY BACK TO WHERE IT BELONGS AND OUT OF THE GUTTER WHERE OBAMA PUT US!
NOVEMBER ELECTIONS ARE COMING! REMEMBER THESE THINGS WHEN YOU GO TO CAST YOUR VOTE.
